  • Start by tonging your hair all over using very large-barrelled tongs on relatively small sections.
  • Use Kirby grips to loosely pin the curls away from your face between the crown and the back of your head.
  • Use hairspray to finish.
  • You can also lightly backcomb the roots to give you more lift.
